teen films are appealing to them as they can relate, teens are at the age where they are most likely to fall in love for the first time and to want adventure and an interesting life also they are much more likely at these ages to rebel, especially against there parents, teen films focus on these part of a teenagers life, this is why teenagers feel as though they can relate.
